The loading tool is made of alloy steel.  The loading assist buttons are made of alloy steel for the black, and anodized aluminum for the other colors.
 
We are shipping the improved loading tool for all button colors.  This is shown on the photos for the green and pink buttons.  The older style is shown on the others.
 
Note that the loading tool does not work on the 25 round magazines that have the limiter that only allows for 10 rounds to be loaded.  If you live in California or New York you likely have these.  The loading assist tool and buttons work on the factory 25 round magazines and the much shorter 10 round magazines.
